What players should I keep on my fantasy baseball team for the 2010 baseball season (I can keep three players)?
My roster consists of:
Yadier Molina-Catcher
Todd Helton-First Base
Luis Castillo-Second Base
David Wright-Third Base
Jason Bartlett-Shortstop
Jason Bay-Outfield
Shane Victorino-Outfield
Chris Young-Outfield
Josh Beckett-Pitcher
Justin Verlander-Pitcher
Jered Weaver-Pitcher
Johnathan Papelbon-Relief Pitcher
Huston Street-Relief Pitcher
Juan Cruz-Relief Pitcher
I have 7 players on my mind:
Todd Helton, David Wright, Jason Bartlett, Jason Bay, Shane Victorino, Josh Beckett, and Justin Verlander
Who do you guys think I should pick?
Verlander, Bay, and Wright. Verlander bounced back this year and the Tigers are in the pennant race, he looks to get you at worst 10+ wins next year and over 200 K’s, with a mid-high 3 ERA. Bay is Mr. Consistent, giving you power, Rbi’s and some Sb’s along the way. Wright is the same way, even though the Mutts have absolutely tanked this year.
Maybe Beckett, but he’s been struggling lately.
Helton is consistent but old, and you can get him the draft. Bartlett is having a breakout season, but there’s no guarantee he’ll repeat next year. Victorino is nice, but not a keeper.
